Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a friendly part-time/PRN Driver in Scottsdale, AZ to transport residents safely to appointments, activities, and outings. You will assist with boarding, maintain safety, and uphold a compassionate, resident-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, a valid driver’s license with passenger endorsement if required, a clean driving record, and experience in healthcare or senior living settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license; passenger endorsement may be required.
• 3+ years driving record with clean history; 1+ year in passenger vehicle.
• Experience with large vehicles preferred.
• Excellent customer service, professional and patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transportation for residents to various locations.
• Assist residents in/out of vehicle; use wheelchair lift as needed.
• Open/close doors and load/unload walkers or wheelchairs as needed.
• Prioritize resident safety and satisfaction during trips.
• Prepare vehicle for operation and coordinate maintenance.
• Ensure vehicle license, inspection, and insurance are current.
• Follow transportation safety procedures.
• Maintain valid driver's license per state regulations.
• Assist in resident programs and events as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents.
