Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Driver in Mill Creek, WA to transport residents safely to appointments and activities, assisting with boarding and alighting and ensuring comfort. You will maintain vehicle readiness, follow safety policies, and support resident programs with a friendly, patient demeanor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of driving experience, a clean record, and a valid license with any required endorsements. CDL may be needed per state rules; CDL endorsements may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license; CDL may be required by state/local rules.
• Passenger endorsement if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to appointments, activities, and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, using lifts or stairs as needed.
• Open/close doors and help with walkers or wheelchairs as required.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction; account for all residents when leaving/returning.
• Prepare vehicle for operation and coordinate basic maintenance.
• Maintain valid vehicle licenses, insurance cards, and inspection tags as per policy.
• Follow transportation safety procedures and road rules.
• Maintain current driving license per state requirements.
• Assist in resident programs and events as needed.
• Build positive relationships with residents and provide support during trips.
