Job summary

Harmony Place in Minnesota is seeking a caring Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents according to menus and dietary guidelines. You will help with food prep, baking, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while monitoring inventory and reporting supply needs.

As part of a fast-paced team, you’ll interact warmly with residents and accommodate dietary preferences or special requests. Food handler/Safeman certifications are required or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required; senior living or healthcare setting a plus.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and dietary needs (e.g. diabetic, low-sodium).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Cook with care and creativity; prepare meals per menus and dietary guidelines.
• Keep the kitchen running smoothly with prep, baking, cleanup, and inventory monitoring.
• Create a welcoming experience by interacting with residents during meal service and accommodating special requests.
