Job summary

Suite Living Senior Care is seeking a Cook to join our dietary team in Lakeville, MN. The role involves preparing meals per menu using batch cooking methods, ensuring quality presentation, and maintaining a clean dining area for residents.

This temporary full-time position may extend based on need, with a pay range of $23–$25 per hour. Experience in senior living and knowledge of special dietary needs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience in Cook, Chef, Dietary Aide, or Server role highly preferred.
• Experience in a Senior Living community highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to menu using batch cooking methods.
• Ensure meals are presented and served to residents per customer service standards.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and presentation.
• Assist with special events and private gatherings as needed.
• Coordinate with Assisted Living Director and Clinical Nurse Manager for dietary accommodations.
• Order food and supplies and maintain inventory within budget.
• Follow safety sanitation practices and label/dating of stock.
