Job summary

Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living in Duluth, MN seeks a Cook/Server to prepare soups, meats, vegetables and desserts under the Culinary Manager. This hybrid role involves meal preparation and assisting in serving meals to residents in a courteous, respectful manner.

The position is part-time with a 7am-6pm schedule and rotating weekends, offering benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and free meals. Applicants must have a high school diploma and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, procedures, and memos.
• Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
• Must work as a team member with other personnel and management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation, clean-up, and general upkeep of the kitchen and dining room.
• Preparation of regular foods according to prescribed menus.
• Follows set guidelines on proper cooking time and temperatures.
• Documents proper cooking time and temperature.
• Cleans and sanitizes all food preparation equipment and ensures that it is kept in safe and operable condition.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations and provide quality customer service.
• Adheres to weekly menus.
• Responsible for completing delegated tasks by supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of all kitchen supplies.
• Responsible for providing three meals per day to tenants.
