Job summary

Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living in Duluth, MN seeks a Cook/Server hybrid to prepare meals and assist in serving residents with courtesy and respect.

Under the Culinary Manager, you’ll handle meal prep, follow menus, maintain safety standards, and help with kitchen cleanliness and inventory. This part-time role requires reliability, teamwork, and a calm, professional demeanor around residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Serv Safe Certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Criminal background check required.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation, clean-up, and general upkeep of the kitchen and dining room.
• Preparation of regular foods according to prescribed menus.
• Follows set guidelines on proper cooking time and temperatures.
• Documents proper cooking time and temperature.
• Cleans and sanitizes all food preparation equipment and ensures that it is kept in safe and operable condition.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.
