Job summary

Arbor Terrace Citrus Park, Assisted Living is seeking a Full-Time Cook to create high-quality meals for residents in a supportive senior living setting. The role runs 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM with an hourly pay range based on experience ($18.50–$20.50 per hour as listed).

Qualifications

• Has previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, or similar environment (culinary training is a plus).
• Understands food safety, sanitation, and proper cooking techniques.
• Has experience with special diets (preferred).
• Can prepare meals for large groups (100+ guests is a plus).
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Takes pride in serving others with kindness, professionalism, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Preparing fresh, high-quality meals using established recipes and menus.
• Following special diet modifications and portion guidelines.
• Assisting with food deliveries, inventory rotation, and kitchen organization.
• Maintaining sanitation, food safety, and regulatory standards.
• Working closely with the Dining Director to ensure smooth meal service.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
