The Bethesda Senior Living Communities in Ellisville, MO is seeking a Chef/Cook for full-time day shifts (6am-2pm and 11am-7pm) to prepare meals for residents, ensuring nutritious, tasty, and well-presented dishes. You will follow established menus, accommodate dietary needs, and maintain sanitary kitchen standards in a fast-paced, care-focused environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma; culinary training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary training preferred.
• Knowledge of restricted diets (diabetic, low fat, salt free, etc.).
• Ability to read, understand recipes and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cooks meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Assists in menu planning to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
• Maintains sanitary kitchen according to policies and procedures.
• Ensures proper food safety and handling and maintains equipment.
• Provides excellent resident-focused dining experiences.
