Job summary

Cascadia Senior Living is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide quality nursing care in a resident-centered environment in Oregon. You will follow individualized care plans and promptly respond to call lights to support residents' rights, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, maintaining skin integrity, reporting observations, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current First Aid and CPR card.
• Maintain current Food Handlers card.
• Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and document observations for the Director of Nursing Services.
• Assist with ADLs including grooming, bathing, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transfers, ambulation.
• Maintain residents' skin integrity with turning, repositioning, and moisturizers.
• Protect residents' belongings and report missing items per policy.
• Record care provided and follow safety, infection control, and charting procedures.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Attend required meetings and trainings and stay current with assigned tasks.
