Job summary

Caretel of St. Joseph is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate, person-centered care in our assisted living setting. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and communicate with families and the care team.

The role requires adherence to HIPAA and facility policies, and may involve evening or weekend shifts. A CPR/First Aid certification and knowledge of assisted living regulations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care.
• Observe and report changes in a resident's condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, hair, mouth, nail care, and dressing.
• Assist and encourage residents to eat and take fluids.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in rooms and common areas.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed.
• Record and report care provided and follow care plans.
