Job summary

HeartLands Senior Living Village at Ellicott City is seeking a Caregiver (PRN) to provide hands-on and emotional support to residents in a home-like setting. You will perform daily personal care tasks and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring resident well-being, responding to call bells, and assisting with activities that promote independence and dignity. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks.
• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
