Job summary

Oakmont of Fresno is a premier senior living community offering individualized support to residents to promote independence and quality of life.

The Care Provider role involves assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining dignity, and responding to residents’ needs with compassion and professionalism. Training is provided; prior experience is welcome, and scheduling is on-call across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in care roles is welcomed but training will be provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills and a caring attitude.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and meet their needs.
• Able to interact effectively with staff, physicians, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening tests including TB required; vaccination may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers, and continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Notify supervisor immediately of any observed or suspected change in condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
