Zusammenfassung

NorthPointe Woods is seeking dependable Direct Care Staff to provide hands-on support to residents in a warm senior living community. You will assist with daily living, mobility, transfers, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

The right candidate will be compassionate, team-oriented, able to follow care plans, document accurately, and participate in social activities. Training is available; healthcare experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete required documentation accurately.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and transfers.
• Follow each resident’s individualized care plan and provide support based on their needs and preferences.
• Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
• Encourage residents to participate in social activities and community life.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Assist with household responsibilities, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
• Communicate resident needs, concerns, and changes in condition to appropriate leadership.
• Report safety, maintenance, or other concerns promptly.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Work cooperatively with other members of the care team to provide consistent, quality service.
