Job summary

Grandhaven Senior Living in Lansing is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team. The role involves providing personal hygiene support, assisting with medications and ambulation, and helping residents with mobility to appointments and activities.

You will also assist with meal planning, light housekeeping, and daily living tasks, while ensuring safety and compassionate care at all times. Flexible shifts are available to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in one-on-one care setting preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and health standards.
• Willingness to learn new skills and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with medication reminders and ambulation.
• Support mobility for appointments or activities outside the home.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with exercises or therapy routines as directed.
• Complete shopping or accompany residents to stores.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe environment.
• Report unusual incidents promptly and responsibly.
• Assist with daily living activities, including meals as needed.
