Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a part-time Caregiver in Mt. Pleasant, SC. You will provide hands-on personal care and support residents in a safe, home-like environment at 937 Bowman Rd.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and CNA certification preferred. Prior senior care experience and strong communication are valued, with competitive wages and flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification preferred.
• Experience with seniors and compassionate, resident-focused approach.
• Strong communication with residents, team members, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance.
• Perform daily checks, respond to call bells promptly, and ensure resident safety.
• Support residents to maintain independence with dignity and well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas.
• Offer companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Notify supervisor of increased care needs and assist with care planning.
