Job summary

Discovery Management Group is recruiting a dedicated Caregiver for The Palms of Mount Pleasant in Mt. Pleasant, SC. This FULL TIME position on Weekdays with rotating weekends offers $18/hour and a chance to enhance residents’ daily lives in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living assistance, responding to calls, and promoting safety and well-being. CNA preferred; HS diploma/ GED required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents, monitoring wellbeing.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation and meals.
• Respond quickly to call bells and security alerts.
• Promote independence with dignity, safety and comfort.
• Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and areas.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and programs.
• Notify supervisor if a resident’s care needs increase.
