Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving – Pittsburgh, PA is seeking Level 3 Caregivers to join our growing team. We offer competitive pay ($16.00–$18.00/hour), flexible full-time or part-time hours, and in-person work. If you are compassionate and dependable, we'd love to meet you and help seniors live safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to provide personalized care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience with seniors.
• Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply).
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting 150+ lbs.
• Preferred experience safely operating mobility and transfer equipment, including Hoyer lifts, gait belts, sit-to-stand lifts, and other assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Assist with transportation, errands, and appointments.
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate team members.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, personalized care.
