Home Matters Caregiving in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking Level 3 Caregivers to provide in-home assistance to seniors, enabling safety, comfort, and independence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience with seniors.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
• Pass a background check, drug screening and TB test.
• Ability to lift 150+ lbs with or without accommodation.
• Preferred experience with mobility/transfer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal prep tailored to dietary needs.
• Assist with transportation, errands and appointments.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the team.
• Support independence and dignity; collaborate with healthcare professionals.

We are currently hiring Level 3 Caregivers in the Pittsburgh area to join our growing team.

What You'll Do

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs
• Assist with transportation, errands, and appointments
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate team members
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, personalized care

What We're Looking For

• Compassionate and dependable individuals
• Minimum 3 years of professional caregiving experience with seniors preferred
• Must be 21 years of age (some exceptions may apply)
• Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance***
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and TB test
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including lifting, transferring, pushing, and/or pulling 150+ lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Preferred experience safely operating mobility and transfer equipment, including Hoyer lifts, gait belts, sit-to-stand lifts, and other assistive devices used to support client mobility and safe transfers
