Job summary

Charter Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Resident Care Associate to support residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain dignity and quality of life for residents.

Ideal candidates have caregiver-related experience and a patient, team-oriented approach, with a passion for serving seniors.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver, CNA, PCA, HHA, or senior living experience preferred.
• Assisted living or memory care experience a plus.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient demeanor.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for serving seniors and enhancing quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support resident care plans and individualized needs.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, dressing, grooming, and bathing.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition.
• Document care and services provided.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and community leadership.
• Help create meaningful experiences for residents each day.
