Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living currently has openings for part-time and full-time staff to support our residents across our care communities in Latrobe, PA. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining clean resident rooms, and promoting safety and independence with compassion.

We seek caring individuals with or without CNA certification; HS diploma or GED required, and applicants must be at least 18. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Education

High School diploma/GED Required

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
