Cascadia Senior Living in Washington state is seeking a dedicated caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, clean living environment. The role emphasizes empathy, clear communication, and teamwork with nursing staff.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, caregiver training, and current First Aid/CPR and Food Handlers certificates. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving, preferably in senior care.
• Completion of required caregiver training and certifications.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a special interest in working with the senior population
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist with the mobility of residents as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Current First Aid and CPR card
• Current Food Handlers card
• Pass a Criminal Background and fingerprint check
• Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Support mobility and transfers of residents.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe living environment.
• Monitor safety and respond to emergencies.
• Document care provided and changes in residents' condition.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team members.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Collaborate with caregivers and nurses to ensure a cohesive and caring environment.
