Job summary

Cascadia Senior Living is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and companionship. You will help ensure safety, dignity, and comfort while following state regulations and company policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, caregiving experience, and certifications such as First Aid/CPR and a Food Handler's card. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in caregiving, preferably in senior care.
• Completion of required caregiver training and certifications.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic toward seniors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist with residents’ mobility.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English reading, writing, and spoken proficiency.
• Current First Aid and CPR card.
• Current Food Handler's card.
• Criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Basic computer skills to learn company applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Provide nutritious meals and accommodations for dietary needs.
• Engage residents with companionship, activities, and social interaction.
• Maintain safe, clean living spaces and support housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Communicate with residents, families, and care team about well-being.
• Attend required trainings, meetings, and care plan updates.
