Job summary

The Arbor at Berkeley is seeking skilled and compassionate Caregivers to serve their residents in Berkeley, CA. Currently, part-time DAY shift opportunities (6:00 am-2:00 pm) with an option to move to full-time within 90 days.

A qualified candidate can expect a wage of $21.00-22.00/hour, plus full-time benefits. The Caregiver supports residents with personal care and daily routines, ensuring a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral care, and hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and transportation throughout the community.
• Support residents during meals, including set-up, encouragement, and after-meal assistance.
• Observe residents closely and promptly report changes in condition, incidents, injuries, or concerns to the nurse or supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation, flow sheets, and care-related records as assigned.
