Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a dedicated Care Provider at its Hawaii Kai community to assist residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate care to maintain independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include responding to resident needs, communicating changes to supervisors, and ensuring a safe environment, while fostering teamwork across departments. Experience is welcomed, but training is provided to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination/testing requirements per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
