Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a PRN driver at the Tyndall, SD location to transport residents with care and safety. You will operate vehicles for patient transport, maintain equipment, and uphold confidentiality while coordinating with the healthcare team.

Requirements include a valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification (or within six months of hire), and adherence to safety guidelines. The role offers diverse shifts and benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older with excellent customer service skills.
• Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.
• The employee must have a current valid driver’s license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. If not certified at time of hire, must be certified within six months. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients/residents safely and as scheduled.
• Maintains and documents DOT-required records and internal reports.
• Sets up equipment per manufacturer recommendations and internal policy.
• Aware of scheduling conflicts and communicates them as needed.
