Good Samaritan Society in Lakota, ND, seeks a part-time driver to support residents with safe transport and patient handling. The role requires 21+ years, excellent customer service, a valid driver's license, and DOT-compliant records. BLS certification is required with training provided.

Salary ranges from $15.00 to $19.50 per hour with benefits for eligible employees. Flexible shifts, up to 16 weekly hours, and a Christian not-for-profit environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older with excellent customer service skills.
• Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.
• Current valid driver’s license and medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; if not certified at time of hire, must be certified within six months.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents/patients as scheduled and safely.
• Maintain and operate equipment per manufacturer recommendations and internal policy.
• Set up equipment and ensure it is in good operating condition.
• Maintain records per Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements and internal reports.
• Communicate scheduling conflicts as needed.
