Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a patient transporter to join our not-for-profit team. The role involves safely transporting residents, coordinating with the care staff, and maintaining equipment per DOT requirements.

A valid CDL or driver’s license and BLS certification are required, with training provided for certification within six months. We offer a day shift schedule (8 hours) and a 40-hour work week, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive Christian environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and have excellent customer service skills. Driver history must comply with Sanford driver qualification standards for insurability.
• The employee must have a current valid driver's license, and must meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. If not certified at time of hire, must be certified within six months. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients/residents safely and as scheduled.
• Set up equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and internal policy.
• Maintain records per DOT requirements and internal reports.
