Viva Senior Living in Weatherly, PA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility. You will follow individualized care plans, document changes, and collaborate with the care team to maintain dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
Ability to follow resident care plans and report changes.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

Supervise and care for residents on a daily basis according to your work list and assignment.
Provide assistance with activities of daily living according to resident’s individualized Care Plan, including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and mobility.
Observe and record assistance with prescribed medications as assigned.
Report refusals or reactions to care or medications to supervisor on duty.
Direct residents and family members to appropriate staff for other needs or information.
Assist with ordering room service for residents when needed.
Document observations and transfer relevant information to the next shift via the 24-hour shift report.
Provide assistance in dining room as needed.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and complete required paperwork.
Maintain cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas.
Participate in in-service educational programs as required.
