The Landings of Cabarrus in Kannapolis, NC is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and to foster a safe, respectful environment.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, encourage engagement, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure comfort and dignity for residents. The role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal care, senior living, or healthcare preferred.
• Completion of a state-approved PCA, CNA, or caregiver training program preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care Support: assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility) and meals.
• Health Monitoring: observe changes, report to nursing team, assist with medication reminders.
• Resident Engagement: foster relationships, encourage participation in activities.
• Safety & Compliance: maintain clean, safe living areas, follow infection control protocols.
