Job summary

The Landings of Albemarle is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct care and support to residents. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, and promote a safe, dignified living environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in personal care or healthcare. High school diploma or GED is preferred; PCA/CNA training is a plus. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.

• Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as needed.
• Observe and report changes in residents' health and behavior to the nursing team.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and encourage participation in activities.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe living environment.
