Job summary

Senior Community Care of North Carolina PACE in Durham, NC is seeking a Driver - Full Time to provide direct, compassionate care and transportation to residents within the PACE program.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, being 21 or older, and at least one year of experience with frail or elderly individuals. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License in state of hire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Minimum of one year experience in working with the frail and elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Support residents’ physical and emotional well-being by building meaningful connections and delivering compassionate, person-centered care
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team to ensure timely and appropriate care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while following all care plans, safety protocols, and infection control standards
