Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN seeks a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare, cook, season and portion meals for patients, residents and staff, following menus and HACCP guidelines.

You will operate kitchen equipment, maintain sanitation, work with colleagues, and contribute to safe, high‑quality food in a not‑for‑profit, Christian environment. Work is full time on a day shift from 9:30am to 7pm with occasional Fri-Sun shifts; a $5,000 signing bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, follow directions; basic math.
• Serv Safe may be required; BLS may be required; driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, season, and portion food for patients/residents and staff.
• Maintain HACCP guidelines and proper food safety and sanitation.
• Operate kitchen equipment and document temperatures and HACCP steps.
• Work with others and communicate effectively in a hospital setting.
