Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read & write English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families & co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s) according to the resident’s service plan.
• Promote social and emotional support and assist participation in activities.
• Interact with residents and families respectfully and report concerns to nurses or managers.
• Learn and follow infection control guidelines and confidentiality protocols.
• Make rounds, assist with meals, and help with housekeeping tasks as needed.
