Job summary

Provision Living is seeking a reliable, supportive, and caring Resident Assistant to work with older adults in a culture of care and support. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and protect residents’ privacy while complying with regulations.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing and is non-exempt. It emphasizes teamwork, compassionate service, and attention to residents’ well-being. Travel is not required.

Qualifications

• CNA and First Aid certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of previous work experience.
• Clearly communicate with residents, employees, resident families and visitors.
• Read and interpret general directives.
• Maintain and promote a good working relationship with staff, families and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing support and personal care.
• Escort residents to dining and activities.
• Respond promptly to the Emergency Call System.
• Report deviations or changes observed in residents to management.
• Deliver meal trays to residents' apartments on request.
• Assist with housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry duties.
• Assist with meal service and dining room cleanup.
• Cross train and share duties in other areas as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
