Job summary

Provision Living is seeking a reliable, supportive Resident Assistant to care for older adults in a caring community. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, promote independence, and uphold privacy in line with regulations.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing and meals, escorting residents to dining/activities, and cooperating with staff to enhance overall well-being. A high school diploma or GED is required, CNA/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or First Aid certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of previous work experience.
• Clearly communicate with residents, staff, families and visitors.
• Read and interpret general directives.
• Maintain a positive, helpful attitude with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing and medication reminders.
• Escort residents to dining room and activities as needed.
• Respond to Emergency Call System and assist residents promptly.
• Report deviations or changes to management.
• Deliver meal trays to residents' apartments.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with meal service and dining room cleanup.
• Cross-train and assist in all areas as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
