Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily living activities and personal care in a compassionate environment.

You will follow care plans, assist with meals, hygiene, dressing, and transfers while maintaining resident dignity and safety. Training and ongoing education are part of the role, with duties directed by LPN/SIC and supervision to ensure high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must enjoy working with senior adults with special care needs.
• Must be willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Must be able to understand English to read, speak, and write.

Responsibilities

• Follow assignments as directed by the LPN/Director of Resident Care Services/SIC in assisting with activities of daily living.
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report to the Supervisor-in-Charge.
• Assist with room cleanliness and safety, including laundry tasks.
• Assist with meals, serving trays, beverages, and dining room assistance.
• Perform oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding, grooming, and other ADLs as needed.
• Make beds and assist with laundry and supplies handling.
• Ensure residents' needs are met and supervise for safety.
• Engage residents in daily activities and follow individual care plans.
