Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA) in Salisbury, MD. The role supports residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily activities, care plans, and documentation, ensuring dignity and quality of life through empathy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Compassionate disposition and a desire to serve; prior experience not required.
• Ability to fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Direct-Care certification or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with the Resident Care Director about care provision.
• Help residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Make routine care rounds to meet resident needs per their care plan.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using proper body mechanics.
• Document daily care activities per policy and standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Provide respectful interaction with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures.
