River Glen Haven Nursing Home is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with medical services coordination and ensuring continuity of care for residents.

The ideal candidate will hold the College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence and an Ontario-approved medication administration certificate, with a strong interest in ongoing education and LTCH experience.

Qualificações

• Must have LTCH/gerontology experience.
• Must hold Certificate of Competence with College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Medication administration cert approved for Ontario with nursing skills training.
• Demonstrated ongoing education interest.

Responsabilidades

• Performs nursing skills per professional standards.
• Assist RN in coordinating medical and external services for continuity of care.
• Ensure nursing staff perform tasks and report observations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences for resident care planning.
• Maintain resident records accurately and reflect care provided.
