Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have LTCH/gerontology experience.
• Must hold Certificate of Competence with College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Medication administration cert approved for Ontario with nursing skills training.
• Demonstrated ongoing education interest.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing skills per professional standards.
• Assist RN in coordinating medical and external services for continuity of care.
• Ensure nursing staff perform tasks and report observations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences for resident care planning.
• Maintain resident records accurately and reflect care provided.
