Qualifications

• Active state RN license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Team player with strong communication and compassion for senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards of practice and orders.
• Plan and monitor nursing interventions for each resident.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and identify problems, developing alternatives.
• Conduct family and resident education.
• Administer medications and treatments per policy.
• Transcribe orders and document care accurately.
• Report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family.
• Coordinate rehabilitation with therapists as needed.
