Shalom Gardens Health and Rehab in Richmond, VA seeks Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a resident-centered team. We offer full-time and part-time roles with day, evening, night and weekend shifts, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia State RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended time periods.
• Team player, strong communicator, passionate about senior care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to meet resident needs per standards of practice and orders.
• Plan nursing interventions for each resident and monitor implementation.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and identify problems; develop alternatives.
• Conduct family and resident education.
• Administer medications and treatments timely per policy.
• Transcribe orders and chart progress notes accurately.
• Identify and report changes in condition to supervisor, physician and family.
• Follow skin management protocols and report changes.
• Coordinate rehab programs with therapists to meet needs.
• Ensure CNA documentation and assignments are completed.
