Job summary

Paramount Community Living and Rehab in Newton, Kansas seeks a compassionate RN to provide direct patient care, medication administration, and coordination with the healthcare team. You will ensure quality outcomes for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

The role requires current Kansas RN licensure, ADN/BSN, and strong clinical skills. On-site facility with rotating weekend/night/holiday on-call shifts and opportunities to mentor nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• 0 years of experience preferred but not required in skilled nursing or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatment planning, and medication administration.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare professionals for individualized care plans.
• Communicate with residents and families to provide updates and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records per facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure adherence to care protocols.
• Ensure nursing practices comply with state and federal regulations, including infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and stabilize acute situations.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday on-call rotations.
