Summit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in New Jersey to support patient care and provide exceptional service. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and communicate clearly about the services they will receive.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, urgent care, or ER preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient support and communication to build a positive experience.
• Prepare patients for appointments and inform about services.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by the Provider.
• Perform point-of-care tests and EKGs; suture/staple removal and dressings.
• Collect vital signs, histories, and screenings.
• Educate patients on medications and diet.
• Administer prescription refills as directed.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment; perform phlebotomy.
• Ensure quality controls and equipment checks.
