Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Montclair-area offices, supporting patient care and ensuring a high-quality patient experience across the network. You will welcome patients, prepare them for visits, and communicate clearly about services provided.

You will administer medications per provider directions, perform point-of-care testing and EKGs, document vitals, and assist with phlebotomy and lab processes. A collaborative team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred; required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient support and communicate to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments; relay information about services.
• Administer PO, IM, ID medications as directed by providers.
• Perform point-of-care tests and EKGs; assist with minor procedures.
• Document vital signs, histories, and screenings; instruct patients on medications and diet.
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen processing; maintain clean treatment areas.
• Support quality controls and equipment checks; ensure readiness of supplies.
