Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support patient care and ensure an exceptional patient experience. You will welcome patients, communicate clearly, and coordinate services to build trust and loyalty.

Responsibilities include administering medications, performing EKGs and lab tests, and guiding patients about treatments. A compassionate, team-focused approach is essential in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Phlebotomy experience and technique expected.
• BLS certification preferred or within 90 days of employment.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or ER is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers PO, IM, and ID meds per provider instructions.
• Performs point-of-care tests and EKGs; handles minor procedures.
• Collects vital signs, histories, and screenings; documents accurately.
• Instructs patients on medications and diet; handles refills as directed.
• Prepares patients and rooms; maintains clean, stocked spaces.
• Performs phlebotomy and processes specimens correctly.
• Conducts quality checks on equipment and maintains safety standards.
