Job summary
Missouri Veterans Home-Warrensburg is seeking part-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to care for our Veterans with compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications
- Missouri licensure as RN or LPN in good standing or eligibility as a graduate nurse.
- Graduate nurse eligibility allowed until licensure results are received or 90 days after graduation.
Responsibilities
- Assess, organize, and plan staff duties on assigned shift.
- Assess needs of Veterans and ensure services meet those needs.
- Implement Veteran MDS and care plans per healthcare protocol.
- Make rounds with the physician and relay patient status and instructions.
- Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations in EMR.
- Administer medications and provide follow‑up observations.
- Assist Veterans with transfers, positioning, and personal care.
- Assist Veterans on admission and/or discharge.
- Participate in unit staff orientation.
