Job summary

AdventHealth in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors. You will develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where practicing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Familiar with infection control and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communication.
• Document care activities and outcomes in the medical record.
• Monitor and ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations and stabilize patients when needed.
