Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Greenspring Village in Springfield, VA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for flexible/PRN shifts to support residents' physical and psychosocial wellbeing. You will collaborate with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates to restore, maintain, and promote health.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months RN experience required.
• Experience with seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Experience with an electronic medical record preferred.
• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, placing resident first.
• Perform clinical duties in line with nursing standards.
• Promote independence by setting care goals for residents.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with care associates for routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention, med administration and treatments.
• Coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document preferences and updated care in the EMR.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
