Job summary

Briarcliff Health and Rehabilitation in Indiana is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our long-term care team. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, lead the nursing team on your shift, and make a real difference in their daily lives.

You will assess residents, administer medications per physician orders, monitor conditions, and document care. The role requires a valid RN license, BLS/CPR, and experience in geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and respond promptly.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and skilled procedures.
• Supervise and delegate to LPNs and CNAs on your shift.
• Communicate with residents, families, and attending physicians.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Participate in care planning, MDS, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility standards.
