Job summary

Briarcliff in South Bend, IN is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for Evening/Night shifts in a calm, organized care setting. You will provide direct nursing care, manage medication administration, and support resident health and comfort with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Indiana LPN or RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred
• Strong medication administration and observation skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, topical, and injectable medications per physician orders
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to the supervising RN
• Perform wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and treatments
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output
• Implement care plans as directed by the RN and care team
• Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs on your shift
• Communicate with residents, families, and the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility compliance standards
