Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will be part of a team that supports and fosters long-lasting relationships among associates and residents.

Responsibilities include assessing residents’ status, coordinating with care teams, supervising Resident Care Assistants, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. A valid RN license and CPR are required; 1–2 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an RN.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with the elderly in paid or volunteer roles highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health to the appropriate director and physicians.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in their duties.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management processes.
• Balances service demands with resident independence support.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses personal emergency response systems as needed.
